Background:
The School of Industrial and Labor Relations proposes the use of the title ‘Professor of Practice.’
The Resolution:
Whereas
the School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) describes its plan to use the title professor-of-the-practice in this document;
Whereas
this plan is consistent with the enabling legislation for this title;
Be it resolved
that the Faculty Senate recommends to the Provost that ILR be allowed to use the professor-of-the-practice title.
