It is essential to have clarity on what is and what is not acceptable. What constitutes internet-based cheating in particular needs to be singled out.
The section in the Code on Course Guidelines and the section on Principles for Computer Use and Network Systems need to be rewritten.
We need a one-pager (with links) that can be referenced by the instructor on the first day of class and that is integrated into Canvas. Perhaps something like the Committment to Academic Integrity and Equitable Instruction that was developed and circulated late March when S20 went online.
There are different versions of the code out there. Would be good to be sent to the right place from Google.
