Retired faculty members automatically receive certain benefits and privileges from the University. Retired faculty members with emeritus/a status have additional entitlements. Faculty with emeritus/a status who wish to continue their participation in the academic life of the university, need to discuss their plans with the department chair. Formal, signed agreements are advised if resources such as office space and computer services are involved.
