We solicited community input using online tools on two occasions:
The Fall Questionnaire asked for comments on thirteen different attributes of the calendar. There were about 1000 responses.
The April Survey asked for comments on two possible fall semester calendars and four possible spring semester calendars. There were about 4000 responses.
Optimizing across the multiple and sometimes diverging views that were expressed, we produced two alternatives to the current calendar. Our work is summarized in our Final Report and in this quick overview Slide Show
