The search for the next University Librarian has generated much interest and yielded an excellent pool of candidates representing diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines. The search committee concluded preliminary interviews last month and has invited three finalists to campus for meetings with the community and senior administration.

The library community is invited to attend the candidates’ presentations scheduled as follows:

Monday, March 27, 2017, 4-5:30 p.m.
Rhodes-Rawlings Auditorium, G70 Klarman Hall

Tuesday, March 28, 2017, 4-5:30 p.m.
Hollis E. Cornell Auditorium, 132 Goldwin Smith Hall

Thursday, March 30, 2017, 4-5:30 p.m.
Rhodes-Rawlings Auditorium, G70 Klarman Hall

Please see http://provost.cornell.edu/searches/university-librarian/ for details on candidates.

There will be a livestream option and details will be posted as they are available. Presentations will also be recorded and maintained on the website through April 3 if you are unavailable at their scheduled time.

Following the visits, there will be an opportunity to provide feedback, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts.
